Fast Trail Kinematics (SL)

Tuning how the suspension behaves under pedalling, what we call the anti-squat, gives great pedalling efficiency and helps make Rise SL an efficient climber.

Progressive Trail Kinematics (LT)

With around 23% progressivity Rise balances finding grip with composure on the bigger hits. It also works well with coil shocks.

Concentric Boost

Concentric Boost is our proprietary suspension design, where there is a pivot point at the rear axel. As well as keeping the suspension active under braking, our system uses less parts, removing weight, adding rigidity and improving reliabiltiy.

How we tune rigidity

Getting stiffness right is essential to how a bike feels on the trail. Too much and the ride becomes harsh; too little and precision is lost. The goal is a frame that feels responsive and controlled, while remaining smooth when the terrain gets rough. Computer modelling and lab testing guide the process, but they’re only the starting point. Real-world testing is what allows us to translate numbers into a ride feel that works on the trail.

Size specific stiffness

The asymmetric frame's design permits us the freedom to tune the rigidity for each size, making sure that as tube lengths and leverages change the feel of Rise stays the same.

Rear triangle & linkage design

Increasing rear triangle stiffness was key. Testing on the trail and in the laboratory both agreed.

Increase stiffness

Finding the sweet spot took many prototypes and tests. We redesigned the shock linkage and the shape of the tubes which make up the rear triangle. The result is a 14% increase in Rear Triangle stiffness.

RS Tuned Assistance:

Our RS firmware is a fully custom motor tune that combines high torque with a carefully tuned power delivery, creating a natural ride feel that sets Rise apart. Up to 85 Nm of torque gives strong support at low cadences for smoother, more controlled technical climbs. Rise uses energy efficiently, gaining more range from a smaller battery. The result is a lighter, more agile bike with the autonomy needed for big days and long, demanding rides.

RS Power Delivery

Our firmware accentuates the curve in the power delivery. The result is that the assistance is lower when you are doing less effort, saving range and not dominating the riding experience. As your effort ramps up, the motor responds powerfully and naturally, giving more assistance just as you need it.

RS RS + Custom

Ready for epic adventures

RS is the longest range mode, with lower torque. This is for riders who want to maximise range, and also want to do more excercise. It is also a great option for lighter riders who find full torque difficult to control.

RS+ takes advantage of the full 85Nm of torque to give a ride that feels natural and powerful when you are pushing harder.
